Duarte Unified enjoys unparalleled support from the cities of Duarte, Bradbury, Monrovia, Arcadia, and Duarte Town Council, an unincorporated area in Los Angeles County.
Supportive Parents
As a small district nestled in an area where residents value their schools, Duarte students benefit from high volunteerism from parents and the community.
Every school has active PTA and/or booster groups. Parents also participate in campus decision-making through a site council. In addition, the Superintendent convenes a Parent Council composed of parents representing each campus. This group provides input on pressing issues, and shares information from the community with the Board of Education.
