Bree Graves, Leonard Ramirez, Daniel Ranjel and Yanely Serrano won Gold medals at the SkillsUSA State championship that took place in San Diego.

Congratulations to Andres Duarte 4th grade student, Emanuel Dominguez, for winning the Los Angeles County Library Bookmark contest facilitated by the L.A. County Board of Supervisors.
Maxwell Elementary School is a candidate school as of September 1, 2013 for the Primary Years Programme. This school is pursuing authorization as an International Baccalaureate World School. They offer all Kindergarten through Sixth grade students Mandarin language instruction.
“We are thrilled to be the first school district in California to partner in developing a P-Tech model program,” said Terry Nichols. “Our T.E.A.C.H. students will develop skills and gain experiences that are in demand today."
